Jesmond Dene Park – Jesmond Dene Park is a hidden gem in Newcastle just recently winning two major awards for Heritage and Conservation at the Landscape Institute Awards in a London ceremony. It’s offers open green fields, great trails through beautiful surroundings and tennis courts, or you can head down to the valley and have a nice walk.
Transport links – You have the metro line which can take you quickly in to town or to the coast during the summer. Also theres lots of bus services that run closely and regularly. Overall it is really easy to get anywhere in Newcastle from Jesmond.
